Marcela is our manager.  She is the one who will communicate with you about your flight times before you fly down and meet you in the apartment to get you settled. She speaks excellent English.  While Marcela is wonderful and very helpful, please be considerate and remember that the apartment is not a hotel and she is not a concierge. 

Santiago

Santiago is a young architect who helps us with various projects and also provides back-up when Marcela is away.  He also speaks excellent English.

Ruben

Ruben is the portero for the Juncal building. When staying at the Juncal apartment, you will see him frequently, sometimes polishing the brass on the front door.

Ernesto is our favorite taxi driver.  He is the uncle of a young friend of ours – and we use him regularly to take us to the airport.  Ernesto does not speak any English but is a wonderfully reliable and prompt driver.  Marcela can help make arrangements with him. 

Tobey and Anne

Tobey and I live in the countryside outside of Washington, DC in semi-retirement.  We love to travel and have fallen in love with Buenos Aires.  It has become our "urban" home.  We spend as much time as we can there - but our 2 dogs and the garden keep us in countryside most of the time - at least for now.
